Chesapeake Bay Traditional Fishing Camp

The 6 night / 7 day traditional camp at Christchurch School offers campers of all fishing abilities the opportunity to explore some of Virginia’s best waters while honing their angling skills. Located in an ideal setting along the Rappahannock River, the camp allows for both fresh and saltwater fishing throughout the week.

Campers experience a wide array of angling opportunities from fishing private, freshwater ponds for largemouth bass, crappie, and sunfish, to our “River Monster Day” fishing for giant flathead catfish, to a day on the Chesapeake Bay fishing for spot, croaker, flounder, and bluefish.
The camp is ideal as a first overnight camp for beginners as well as those with plenty of fishing experience with instruction from experienced counselors and serious anglers sure to make their fishing better when they get home.

Lodging/Food: Campers stay in the dorms at Christchurch School and eat most meals in the cafeteria or packed lunches are provided.

Transportation: Transportation from the Richmond airport or train station is available. Contact us for details before arranging travel plans.
